In the morning of September 16, the leaders of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, representatives from University of Technology, University of Science, Ho Chi Minh City Technical and Economic College, Ly Tu Trong Technical Economic College, etc. attended the Workshop on developing the training program under CDIO model organized by Thu Duc College of Technology. The Workshop was to announce the results after one year of implementation of the training program under CDIO model at Thu Duc College of Technology and to receive advice and comments of the experts from other universities and colleges.
The construction and development of the training program under CDIO model was conducted in Thu Duc College of Technology since August 2015, serving the goal of building and developing Thu Duc College of Technology to become an advanced college in the Southeast Asia. The CDIO model was firstly applied in six majors including Information Technology, Communication and Computer Network, Electrical – Electronic Engineering Technology, Electrical – Communication Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology and Automotive Engineering Technology. The training program of these majors under CDIO model has basically completed and received positive feedbacks and reviews from experts and guests at the workshop.
At the workshop, lecturers from Thu Duc College of Technology and other universities and colleges shared their experience in constructing and developing the training program under CDIO model. These lecturers have been directly involved in the process of developing the training programs, with the desire to provide a suitable training program that meet the AUN-QA standards and meet the requirements of the enterprises.
Speaking at the workshop, Mr. Truong Van Hung - Head of the Division of University and Professional Education, Department of Education and Training Ho Chi Minh City acknowledged and congratulated the achievements of Thu Duc College of Technology in constructing the training programs under CDIO model.
