In the morning of September 18, The Busan Foundation for International Activities (BFIA) and four universities including Kyung Sung University, Dong A University, Dong Eui University and Silla University coordinated with Thu Duc College of Technolgy (TDC) to celebrate the “Education Fair on Studying in Busan. The education fair successfully took place on the campus of TDC with some interesting cultural exchange activities.

BFIA is a non-profit organization established by Busan Metropolitan City. BFIA offers various services and programs in support of Busan’s globalization efforts to connect the citizens to the international communities. In connection with this, they support the efforts of their local universities to attract more international students through education fairs overseas.

The education fair last Friday at TDC had 3 main parts: The warm meeting between Leaders of TDC and the four universities; Busan education seminar; 1:1 counseling and education fair. Participating in the Busan education fair, TDC’s students could have opportunities to gain more information about studying abroad and working in South Korea as well as at the four large universities in Busan City. Besides, they also joined some activities in such boosts as traditional games, K-pop quizz, food, Hanbok, etc.

The education fair not only helped the four universities choose good students to study in their universities, but also helped encourage and enhance the close cooperative relationship between TDC and BFIA, between Ho Chi Minh City and Busan City. In the meeting at the beginning of the education fair, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ly – President of Thu Duc College of Technology expressed her hope to receive the concern and assistance from Korean partners through cultural exchange activities as well as teachers and student exchange programs.
