On August 06, the delegation of World University Service of Canada (WUSC) visited and worked with Leaders of Thu Duc College of Technology (TDC). Through the visit, WUSC wanted to learn and discuss the needs of volunteers of TDC in 2 majors: Tourism and Information Technology.
WUSC is a leading Canadian non-profit organization in international development, committed to building a more equitable and sustainable world. They work with a network of post-secondary institutions, private-sector partners and volunteers to provide education, employment and empowerment opportunities that improve the lives of millions of disadvantaged youth around the world. At the meeting with TDC, WUSC representatives discussed and learned about the scales and training programs of the Tourism and Information Technology majors, thereby grasping the need for volunteers to them. By the year 2020, TDC will change their method in capacity building and develop closer connection with enterprises.
At the meeting, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ly – President of TDC gave her thanks to the concern of WUSC, which provides TDC with more chances to access to the WUSC programs and receive volunteers in Tourism and Information Technology.
