The Vietnam – Korea Festival on July 06 marked the end of the cultural exchange program of the volunteer group from Seowon University, South Korea at Thu Duc College of Techology. During the two weeks at the college, students from the two schools together took part in volunteer activities at the locality and held such interesting cultural exchange activities as Vietnamese learning, paper crafting, Teakwondo performing, K-pop, etc.

In her speech at the opening ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ly – President of Thu Duc College of Technology give thanks to the volunteer group of Seowon University for helping students of Thu Duc College of Technology to have the opportunity to exchange their culture and learn some social skills. Besides, the President also expressed her gratitude to the support of Seowon University to volunteer activities in Ho Chi Minh City and Ben Tre Province.

Students from the two schools enthusiastically took turn performing great songs and dances, and the festival ended with the performance of traditional costumes of Vietnam and South Korea.

On this occasion, the volunteer group from Seowon University also awarded 10 “Seowon University Scholarship” (1 million dong each) to students of Thu Duc College of Technology.
