On the 68th anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27, 1947 ~ July 27, 2015), Thu Duc College of Technology (TDC) celebrated many meaningful activities to pay tribute and commemorate the martyrs who bravely sacrified for the national independence, as well as to support and share the sorrow with heroic mothers, war invalids, policy beneficiary families and martyrs’ families.
On the night of July 26, more than 30 Green Summer Campaign volunteers of Thu Duc College of Technology attended the candle lighting ceremony at An Nhon Tay Village’s Cemetery, Cu Chi District, Ho Chi Minh City to commemorate the war martyrs. The activities not only recalled the memories and expressed the deep gratitude of students of TDC in particular and Vietmanese youth in general to the former generations, but also guided young people to lofty human values.
Beside the above activities, The Communist Youth Union also visited and presented gifts to martyrs’ families, policy beneficiary families and heroic mothers in District 2, District 9, Thu Duc District, Minh Tam Village – Hon Quan District and Phuoc Vinh An Village – Cu Chi District.
