In the morning of 2 March 2015, the opening ceremony of training course in using WWE software and methods of training and assessment (CIV) was held at Thu Duc College of Technology. The training course is the outcome of the coordination between Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training and EMG Group to be provided for officers and lecturers from 3 institutions including Thu Duc College of Technology, Ho Chi Minh City Technical and Economic College, and Nguyen Huu Canh Technology and Economic Vocational School.

The opening ceremony witnessed the presence of Mr Pham Ngoc Thanh – Vice Director of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, Mr Alastair Agnew – Project Development Expert, Mrs Nguyen Thi Ly – TDC’s President, Mrs Pham Ngoc Tuong – TDC’s Vice President and 26 officers and lecturers of the 3 participating colleges.
The aim of the training course was to equip and provide teaching staffs of the 3 colleges with the introduction of WWE and methods of training and assessment (CIV) in conformity with the Australian vocational training program. Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr Pham Ngoc Thanh – Vice Director of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training placed emphasis on the necessity of the training course in the implementation of TAFE project which would contribute to the training of high-quality human resources for Ho Chi Minh City as well as the country as a whole. Appreciating the effort and determination of all participating teachers and lecturers, Mr Pham Ngoc Thanh believed that the course participants would fulfill the course’s requirements.
As scheduled, 3 colleges will take turns holding the training course and the training course will be completed on 27 March 2015.
