October 25, 2014 – Thu Duc College of Technology organized the summation ceremony of academic year 2013-2014 as well as the opening ceremony of academic year 2014-2015. The ceremony was held in a formal, joyful and emotional atmosphere, marking the commencement of a new academic year full of confidence and excitement.

Overview of the ceremony at TDC

The ceremony witnessed the presence of the representatives of Ministry of Education and Training, Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, HCMC Department of Education and Training, HCMC Education Union, associations, local enterprises, universities, colleges, high schools, TDC’s staffs, students’ parents, and students. Master Pham Ngoc Tuong – TDC’s Party Committee Secretary – presented the finalization report on the academic year 2013-2014 and the 2014-2015 enrollment result, which focused on the relations with enterprises and partners and the affiliation with foreign partners; the fostering of social-demand training; staffs and students’ field trip to enterprises... 


Master Pham Ngoc Tuong – TDC’s Party Committee Secretary – was presenting the finalization report on the academic year 2013-2014.

At the ceremony, Master Nguyen Thi Ly – the College’s President – awarded certificates of graduation to 22 top graduates. With their ceaseless efforts and outstanding achievements in learning, 22 top graduates deserved to represent more than 1000 students to be honored in the ceremony.

Following the learning tradition of TDC’s former student generations, Tran Bao Ngoc, on behalf of 3000 new students, received the traditional flag from Mai Le Huyen, a top graduate representing the other 1000 new graduates. Along with the College’s 30-year history, the traditional flag would be highly raised by new achievements in learning, training and scientific research.    

The ceremony also welcome the presence of Mr Ha Huu Phuc – Department Head, Director of Representative Body of Ministry of Education and Training in the South – who recognized and highly appreciated the College’s achieved outcomes in the past year. He believed, “With the long history and tradition of TDC, the College would certainly achieve successes in the course of training and scientific research, renovations to enrollment, testing and evaluation in conformity with the College’s majors.”


Mr Ha Huu Phuc – Department Head, Director of Representative Body of Ministry of Education and Training in the South - was speaking at the ceremony.
