Thu Duc College of Technology
The Faculty of Automobile Engineering was established in accordance with Decision No. 395/QĐ-CNTĐ-NS dated 15 July 2016 by President of Thu Duc College of Technology. Originated from Faculty of Mechanics with a long history of training college and vocational students with the aim of providing labor force for Ho Chi Minh city and neighboring provinces, Faculty of Automobile Engineering is designated as a focus faculty in the College’s strategy of developing high-quality human resources.
To train the human resources of high-quality to meet the real demand of the national automobile industry. To provide professional qualified, confident and self-assertive the process of integration.

The Faculty has connected and cooperated with such domestic and foreign partners as Singapore Polytechnic; FPT Software; Bach Khoa Computer JSC., etc.
Faculty of Automobile Engineering maintains close relationships with enterprises, companies and garages offering automobilerelated services. Annually, the Faculty organizes field trips to automobile companies for students with the motto of associating theory with practice.
Teaching staff: Faculty of Automobile Engineering consists of a team of qualified lecturers and employees, in which 100% are university graduates and 95% are postgraduates. All lecturers are enthusiastic and dedicated.
Facilities: Faculty of Automobile Engineering is regarded as the College’s key faculty receiving the investment of equipment and devices on the annual basis. Located at Section C of the College, Faculty of Automobile Engineering has 2 Auto-electric workshops, a motorcycle maintenance workshop, a automobile refrigeration electricity workshop, 2 automobile chassis workshops, 2 petrol engine workshops and a diesel engine workshop. All workshops are equipped with modern teaching and learnings aids.
Syllabus: Faculty of Automobile Engineering always focus on CDIO competency-based approach training programs to assist students in achieving knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary for automobile engineering industry. The syllabus is updated on an annual basis to meet the real demand.
Skills: From the commencement, the students’ learning at the College and enterprises help them understand more about the specific characteristics of their future job. In each term, the College always organizes extracurricular courses in order to provide students with soft skills such as teamwork skills, independent working skills, report writing, presentation, interview…
Job opportunities: After graduation, students of Faculty of Automobile Engineering will be able to perform positions including technical consultants, technicians, maintenance employees, spare spart employees, salespersons at garages, showrooms and companies offering automobile-related services
