Overview The Faculty of Economics was established under Decision No. 372/QĐ-CNTĐ-TCHC dated July 3, 2025, based on the merger of the Faculty of Finance – Accounting and the Faculty of Business Administration. This milestone marks a significant transformation, ushering in a new stage of development toward modernization and specialization in the fields of finance, accounting, business administration, marketing, logistics, and supermarket management.

Training Objectives
The Faculty aims to train practice-oriented bachelor’s degree holders through a competency-based approach, with practical activities (practice/simulation/projects) accounting for at least 70% of the program. Students are equipped with applied knowledge in economics and management, professional law, and ethics. They become proficient in using professional software such as accounting systems, ERP/WMS, CRM/POS, and BI tools; capable of preparing reports, managing and querying data, and operating workflows. In addition, students are trained in communication, teamwork, KPI management, and operational-level foreign language skills in their respective fields.

Strengths of the Faculty

Lecturers: The Faculty of Economics currently has 35 lecturers (including 1 Ph.D. and 34 M.A. holders) with extensive experience in practical training and corporate collaboration. The teaching staff adopts a “learning by doing” approach (project-based learning, simulations, real-world case studies), aligned with professional competency standards in finance–accounting, business administration, marketing, logistics, and retail/supermarket management.

Research and Technology Transfer: The Faculty focuses on applied research, including business process consulting, management digitalization, business data analysis, supply chain optimization, and studies related to labor and employment issues within enterprises and local communities.

The curriculum is designed based on a competency-based approach, placing practical skills at its core, with over 70% of the program dedicated to hands-on practice, simulations, and corporate projects. It features an interdisciplinary integration among finance–accounting, business administration, marketing, logistics, and retail/supermarket management. This approach enables students to become job-ready, adapt effectively to digital technologies, and comply with professional standards.

Specialized foreign language competence relevant to their field.
Professional attitude and work ethics: Honesty, discipline, responsibility, and adherence to laws and professional standards, with readiness to work immediately and adapt to technological change.
