On September 17th, Thu Duc College of Technology (TDC) collaborated with Intertek to conduct a surveillance audit of the Quality Management System according to the ISO 9001:2015 standard. This activity aims to maintain and effectively implement the Quality Assurance System currently operated by the college. At the same time, it serves to update and improve the system documentation to meet the requirements of the new standard. The audit was conducted by lead auditor Nguyễn Thị Định and auditor Chung Ngọc Mi Mi.

Giving a speech at the working session, Phạm Hữu Lộc (Meritorious Teacher-PhD) – Principal of Thu Duc College of Technology (TDC) – emphasized the importance of evaluating and monitoring the Quality Management System currently implemented at the college. Based on the evaluation results, the institution will develop and implement strategic activities to further enhance operational effectiveness.

During this evaluation period, the assessed units actively collaborated by providing timely and sufficient documentation and evidence to support the evaluation process. They also expressed their commitment to seriously acknowledge and incorporate the evaluation team's feedback in order to improve and refine the system in accordance with the required standards.

In this evaluation and monitoring round, the assessors focused on the quality of services and service delivery activities of four key units: the Office of International Cooperation and Quality Assurance, the Office of Organization and Administration, the Office of Admissions and Training, along with the Faculties of Economics, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, and Tourism – Hospitality.

According to the evaluation team’s assessment, TDC is currently maintaining and operating its quality management system effectively across the institution’s activities. Overall, this year, the team recorded no non-conformities. Documentation and evidence were well-organized and fully archived, information retrieval was efficient, and all requirements were met in accordance with established regulations. However, the evaluators also offered a few minor recommendations for improvement to ensure the system aligns more comprehensively with current standards and expectations.
